Michal Matejcik was born the May 8th 1983 in llava. He studied at the Conservatoire of J.L.Bella in Banska Bystrica under the influence of Mgr Martin Vaculciak. During this fruitful period Michal had acquired number of prices from recitals and concerts that were organised by the school. Some of the most precious are: the 3rd price at the II. International Accordion Competition in Poprad, 1st price from the Competition of Slovak Conservatoire and price from Slovak Music Foundation for the best music interpretation of Slovak Composers. In present time he is studying at the Faculty of Music and Dance of the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He is studying under the supervision of doc. Boris Lenko. As a student and also as member of Slovak Tasto Duo he is presenting himself on concerts in Slovakia but also abroad. He attended the International Tokaj Art Summer Master Classes in Slovakia in 2008 where he had rehearsed new compositions.

Ivana Trangosova was born the July 17th 1983 in Brezno. After completing secondary education she attended the Gymnazium of Jan Chalupka in Brezno. Beside she studied piano play at the Private Conservatoire of Desider Kardos in Topolcany. Under the influence of Mgr. art Denisa Krajcovicova and Mgr. art Milan Pacovsky. Currently she is studying at the Faculty of Music and Dance of the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Doc. Frantisek Perglera ArtD who is a Maestro in play on piano is supervising her.

In the spare time she is busy by performing on different concerts and competitions. Together with accordion player Michal Matejcik they formed Slovak Tasto Duo. This duo is interpreting music of Modern Slovak Composers. Already they have achieved excellent success at home but also abroad. One of them was the 3rd price at the II. International Accordion Competition in Poprad.
